It was good to be back in Nashville at The Texas Troubadour Theater with my good friend David Frizzell. David and I sang "I'll Fly Away" from my recent gospel album entitled "Life's Railway" produced by David and recorded at his home studio outside of Nashville. I had a great time performing with David on the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. It had been thirty years since my voice went over the air waves on WSM. ET's Midnite Jamboree is the second longest running live radio broadcast in the world, second only to the Grand Ole Opry. I first appeared on the Midnite Jamboree in the fall of 1984, just three weeks after the passing of the legendary Ernest Tubb, the original Texas Troubador.
